After recieving a concerned letter from Albert Einstien, President Roosevelt, somewhat reluctantly perhaps, passed the creation of the manhattan project.
Brigadier General Leslie Groves
Brigadier General Groves was placed in charge of the Manhattan Project. The atomic research, the weaponization of the information and creation of the bomb, and even plans for the bombs' use were all carried out under his command.

Lead Physicist
At times reffered to as the "father of the atomic bomb", Oppenheimer played a key role in the research and creation behind the atomic bombs.While countless other scientists were involved, their work was primarily compartmentalized. Oppenheimer played a larger part in the bombs creation than most.
